5 million liters of thermal water are gushing out of Bad Gastein´s springs on a daily basis. This 44,3°C hot spring water, high in Radon, originates from 18 thermal springs.
FELSENTHERME BADGASTEIN
1.000 m2 water area with a sensational atmosphere, 600 m2 adventure hot springs, 600 m2 panoramic wellness area, all on 1.100m (3.608 feet) above sea level. A dditionally you will find a quiet thermal bath, outdoor thermal bath, fitness centre, interactive water slides, childrens fairytale pool, sports pool, and a cave (water temperature 24 °C - 34°C).
ALPENTHERME BAD HOFGASTEIN
Europe´s most modern alpine health- and adventure world on 32.000 m² (344,445 sq. ft.) with a 360° panoramic view, this is the only one worldwide. Discover a multitude of calm and with a wellness oasis, comfortably warm thermal water, a sauna area with a mountain lake, a water cinema, water slides, geysers and a sky bar made of glass. Additionally a 1.500 m2 (16,146 sq. ft.) water area: thermal in- and outdoor baths, sports pool, baby and children’s area, lazy-river flow passage as well as a waterbed area for total relaxation. The beauty-residency and ladies world, for women only, offer you a very modern fitness area and center for health and sports.

WINTER SPORTS
Five spacious skiing areas at up to 2.700m (8.858 feet) above sea level as well as deep snow and mogul pistes, carving routes and free rides result in a multitude of skiing slopes.
The slopes in the Gastein valley offer the right level for everyone. Beginners as well as professionals get their money´s worth.
The interconnected ski areas “Stubnerkogel-Angertal-Schlossalm” and “Dorfgastein-Großarltal”, the “Graukogel” in the style of the world champions and the high alpine Sportgastein are at your choice. The perfect altitude and the widespread snow cannons guarantee snow from the end of November until the beginning of May. Gastein is also part of Ski Amadé, the biggest skiing association in Austria with more than 800 kilometers of slopes and 270 lifts.
